Watch out for DVD scams

I am producing the blog to warn others so they don't get ripped off like me. I recently purchased two complete TV Series from http://www.tvdvdworld.tv/ They offered TV series that I've wanted to get for ages so I purchased one set for my daughter and one set for me on a series that I love. My daughters set arrived first as the second set was on backorder. As soon as I opened the parcel I realised they were illegal fake copies of the series and not originals. I was annoyed as I thought I was getting the ridgy didge product but when my daughter went to watch it you couldn't even watch it as it had been poorly recorded and was so blurry they even my tv addicted teenage daughter couldn't watch it. I emailed the company and told them that they not only were illegally copied DVDs and I'd been ripped off but that the quality of the picture was so poor that it was totally not watchable. Unfortunately they had emailed me prior to my daughter watching her DVDs to tell me the back order was on the way. So in my email complaining about the poor quality I told them that my set had better be clearer. Anyway as you probably guessed I never got an email back from these people and my set arrived today and sure enough three whole discs just don't work at all and the ones that do work are so blurred there is no way anyone would sit there and watch them. I am sick to death of dishonest people making a buck by ripping other people off. Why don't these people get a real job, because not only are they dishonest breaching copyright they are also idots as they can't even produce a copy that is watchable. I realise I've thrown my money away. But don't you. Don't ever buy from these people.

These DVDS were very easy to tell that they are fraudulent and now that I've got them I can see I should have seen the signs when browsing there website. The covers shown on the website are not like any other versions out there on the market. I just thought that they had used these pictures for display purchases to better tell you about the series you where buying. But no these are the actual poorly printed covers on the DVD containers. Then when you open the covers even though they are factory sealed inside the discs look just like the ones you burn at home yourself. This is a very amaturish production and as I said earlier the quality of the shows is so blurred it is not watchable. Looks like when they've taped the episodes off the TV they have a very poor antenna and the TV reception is terrible.

I have been stung twice - would you believe it - I'm just so gullable that I thought most people where honest - I was wrong.

Read my other post to hear my second and final rip off. I'll never be caught by these scammers again.
